I look the saw as you remember. My brown hair is still long and curly,
my waist line actually still small.
I bet if you looked closer you would see the changes,
my clothes still the same are now just old and worn,
my face is full of worry and full of things that you weren't there for, my hand now holds a diamond,
my nervous laugh is heard more often 'cause I barely know who you are,
Silences are long cause we can no longer complete eachothers sentences,
we can no longer talk for the hours we did about nothing.

I was fixing your pins and buttons on the day you marched out our door. Waving I shut the door and could still feel the imprint of your kiss on my cheek. I could still smell your cologne throughout the house. Your clothes left, unmoved in our closet. Your work shirts fresh and pressed. The bed was still warm from the night before.
